FWSU COVID-19 SCHOOL CLOSURE RESOURCES FOR PRE-K AND ACT 166

In early March, Governor Phil Scott ordered the closure of Vermont school buildings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, most of our Act 166 preschool partnership programs closed, as well. During this time of suspended in-person programming for many children, it is the goal of Franklin West to provide access to high-quality teaching and learning resources for our youngest students that may be accessed at the convenience of any adult supporting these children at home or in a program setting.

On this page, you will find a variety of resources categorized by academic and social-emotional learning. Each has been suggested by one of our preschool teachers as a valuable tool for the development of young children. We encourage you to select resources from these lists that meet your child’s needs and interests.

During this unusual time, Franklin West continues to place tremendous value on early education and our relationships with those who help make the earning happen. We hope you find this page useful.
