Graduates BFA Fairfax

While graduation rates across Vermont remain a relative strength, recent statewide trends highlight emerging challenges. The four-year graduation rate has declined from a peak of 89% in 2017 to 82% in 2025, and the six-year rate has decreased from 91% to 85%. These shifts signal the importance of continued focus, innovation, and support to ensure every student crosses the stage ready for what comes next.

That’s why it is especially exciting to celebrate schools that are not only meeting expectations, but exceeding them. In addition to identifying schools in need of comprehensive and targeted support, the Vermont Agency of Education also recognizes schools that are outperforming state benchmarks. We are proud to share that Bellows Free Academy Fairfax achieved a rating of "Exceeding" in the 4-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate based on SY2024–2025 data!

This accomplishment reflects the dedication of students, families, educators, and staff who work tirelessly to ensure every learner is supported, empowered to succeed, and prepared for the opportunities of their future. Congratulations to the entire BFA Fairfax community on this outstanding achievement!
